Speaker: John MacDonald

One of our own local historians, John MacDonald will join us on Thur. April 16, 7:30 pm with his research topic, “Meet me at the Station”.

This is about Milton’s romance with the railways, which changed our Town forever. At one time Milton had two rail stations located in town for freight and passenger travel. This photo was take at the station which was just north of Main Street on Court Street near the present rail tracks. Mr. McDonald will give us an historical look of the fascinating events, struggles and the Miltonians who brought the railways to Milton.
