Volunteering matters. Sharing your time, skills, empathy, and creativity is vital to your wellbeing and the inclusivity and strength of our communities. We are so grateful to all of our volunteers, especially our Volunteer Coordinator - Nadia English , who generously donates so much of her time to MHS. Please connect with Nadia if you're interested in learning more about becoming a volunteer. Student volunteers are welcome. #NVW2024 #EveryMomentMatters

Historic Property: This month we feature 136 Martin St. which was built on Lot 2, Block 9 in the John Martin survey. It was built in 1860 for William Durie Lyon and is a rugged two storey stone home. Mr. Lyon was a merchant, served as our post master, Milton Mayor in the mid 1860's and later elected to represent Halton in the Ont. Government.
