| On June 5, 2011 members of the congregation of St. Paul’s United Church voted 53.4% in favour of restoring
the sanctuary.
Late in June the Church Council named three committees to deal with the project:
 | Insurance Claim, chaired by Theo Wolder; |
 | Fundraising, chaired by John Wilcox; and |
 | Sanctuary Restoration and Improvement committee chaired by Bill Woodcock. |
During the summer months the committees have been meeting, organizing and developing their mandate to report to Church Council in late August.
At the end of July, St. Paul’s United Church formally withdrew their demolition request to the Town of Milton regarding 123 and 101 Main St.
The Milton Historical Society are very hopeful that St. Paul’s will continue to work towards the Restoration of their Heritage 1890 Sanctuary.
