In addition to the ongoing plaquing of
historic buildings in Milton, the society has also expended great
effort to facilitate the restoration of some of the buildings.
To date, the most significant projects have been the
preservation of the old County Court House and Jail and the
restoration of the Waldie Blacksmith Shop. The MHS has also
researched and published histories of some of the older buildings,
such as the original Town Hall.
Please refer to the Plaquing Project for additional details and to download a list of all
buildings that have plaques currently in place.
