The Milton Historical Society encourages groups to arrange a tour of our facility, “The Waldie Blacksmith Shop”. Learn about Milton's heritage and the workings of a Blacksmith. Call to arrange an appointment.

Visitors learn about the history of the early trades related to the Blacksmith as well as the history of the Town of Milton through our interpretations, education and exhibits.

The Milton Historical Society is dedicated to promoting the heritage of Milton through our Living Museum “The Waldie Blacksmith Shop” which includes:

conservation of our collections (approx. 95% of our artifacts in the Blacksmith Shop are original)
exhibits in our Carriage Shop Room
The Milton Historical Society’s Alex Cooke Memorial Archives and reference library which is available for researchers by appointment.
