| The Milton Historical Society has received financial
assistance from key organization, thus enabling it to rebuild the
physical facilities at the Waldie Blacksmith Shop, prepare and publish
the archive documents, and maintain the society on a day-to-day basis.

Ontario Trillium Foundation:
MHS gratefully acknowledges the financial support of the
Ontario Trillium Foundation (www.trilliumfoundation.org),
an agency of the Ministry of Citizenship, Culture and Recreation. With
$100 million in annual funding from the province’s charitable gaming
initiative, the Foundation provides grants to eligible charitable and
not-for-profit organizations in the arts, culture, sports, recreation,
environment and social service sectors.
The MHS was awarded a second grant in the
amount of $75,000 to add heating and cooling, accessible washrooms, and
a part-time coordinator.
